Serial Academic Reports by Academician Ross Large from University of Tasmania

Invited by Professor Shaoyong Jiang (director of Collaborative Innovation Center for Exploration of Strategic Mineral Resources) and Professor Jianwei Li (director of School of Earth Resource), Professor and Academician Ross large of University of Tasmania, Australia, will visit our university for academic exchange and made four academic reports.

Brief-introduction for the Reporter: Academician Ross large is the founder of the Center for Excellent Ore Deposit Research (CODES) of the University of Tasmania, Academician of the Australian Academy of Technology Science and Engineering, member of the International Ore Deposit Academy and member of the Australian Geological Academy. For a long time, he has been engaged in the research of ore genesis and exploration, organized and developed and optimized analysis method of LA-ICP-MS microcell chemical composition of metal sulfide, systematically obtained the trace element composition of pyrite in marine sedimentary rocks of different geological periods for the first time, and interpreted the evolution of life from a new perspective. And more than 180 papers have been published in the important international academic journals, such as Geology, EPSL, GCA, EG.
